    NRG 75  SLIMLINE SERIES    (x 7 Groove)
    NRG 75  MIDLINE SERIES      (x 4 Groove)
    NRG 75  WIDELINE SERIES   (x 2 Groove)
  1. LEVEL:
Laser level / Dumpy level an offset datum mark to external and internal corner points to structural frame, approx 1500mm above base starting level. Chalkline a visual reference offset line onto building paper. (This will ensure accuracy to NRG Feature clad on completion.)
  1. STARTER:
Where necessary, install NRG 75mm Starter bead at base line of exterior wall. Ensuring a straight and level set up.
  1. INSTALL  NRG 75 x 75  JOINERY STOPS:
    (a) All window and door joinery, requires a NRG 75mm x 75mm stop, to vertical styles. Position 3mm off the aluminium or timber window / door, (for polyurethane sealant procedures) and mechanically screw fix. This forms a finishing detail to the system, enabling the feature recess channel bead to seal correctly.

    (b) IMPORTANT:  Next ... install NRG 40mm reveal bead to the outside edge of the NRG 75 x75 mm stop. (Note: This step has to be completed, prior to main NRG feature clad installation) and to the inside edge, install standard external bead.

  1. 1st NRG BASE SHEET:
Position,  glue and mechanically screw fix NRG 75 Feature clad into starter bead, using 100mm fixings with NRG washers at 300mm centers. Ensuring exact level installation, referencing back to your offset level datum chalkline. Adjoin and fix continuous NRG 75 Feature Clad base sheet, until complete as per above. Now install remainding NRG 75 on top of base sheet, using bostik no more nails glue to all adjoining sheet edges, and mechanically screw fix as per specification.   Constantly checking NRG 75 is installed exactly level.

When approaching the NRG 75 x 75 window/door stop, cut NRG Feature-clad sheet neatly to the stop, dry fit then remove. Apply a generous double bostik glue line to NRG 75 x 75 stop, and simply butt join NRG Feature-clad, as you would to all adjoining NRG sheets, then mechanically screw fix as per NRG specification.

  1. NRG  FEATURE  PVC  RECESS  BEADING  SYSTEM:
CALCULATE:  NRG  Feature recess bead total meters required. (3.0 m lengths) Insert / glue feature recess bead into NRG recess channels, using ‘Bostik no more nails’. For external and internal corners, cut precise 45 degree mitres. Then at your polyurethane sealant of windows stage, once all NRG PVC  beading is complete, apply a fine line polyurethane joint seal to all butt and mitred PVC joints, ensuring a water tight seal, and a ‘paint ready’ finish is achieved.

For external corners, install feature recess beads 1st, as per above.  Then install standard external beads vertically in between the feature bead, ensuring all outer rails intersect precisely. To enable this, cut perforated leaf off either the feature bead, or the standard external to eliminate over lapping of perforated bead leafs.

TIP:  Use small electric grinder with fine  4 inch waifer blade to cut PVC.

IMPORTANT:   Alignment and straightness of all connecting NRG PVC  beading is paramount, as this reflects on the final product.  Take appropriate time to ensure the above is factored in, with butt joints to NRG PVC beading system, and sealant procedures attention to detail.
